Tri-State Area Medical Supply Drive for Haiti
Written by Administrator
Friday, 29 January 2010
This weekend, a team of independent medical professionals from various hospitals and clinics throughout NYC will fly out to Port-au-Prince on an excursion to provide attention and medical aid to the some of the hardest stricken areas. They have graciously agreed to travel with donations.

Starting today and continuing until Saturday afternoon, representatives from Lambda Alpha Chapter will try to arrange pick-ups of any medical supplies that you (or someone you may know) are willing to donate. This includes but is not limited to:

- First Aid supplies such as:
Bandages, gauze, wrapping, tape
Analgesics
Antiseptics
Over-the-counter ointments (e.g. anti-inflammatory)
- Tylenol, Advil, aspirin, cold / flu medication
- Popsicle sticks, cotton swabs
- Oral / Dental hygiene products
- Crutches, slings, neck braces, specialized foot apparel
- Disposable thermometers
- Vitamins
- Cold packs

Please note that we are not asking for money. If you wish to contribute but do not have aforementioned supplies at your disposal, generously purchased goods will be accepted.

Clothing, water and other goods will be considered at a later time.

Again, if you contact us by Saturday January 30, 2010 @ 12pm noon, we can make arrangements to come to YOU if you are in the tri-state area. The team's departure is on Sunday January 31st, so we intend to spend most of Saturday afternoon collecting from donors.

To make arrangements for pick-up of medical supplies that you may wish to donate, please call, text or e-mail:
