The purpose of Alumni chapters is to provide alumni and professional men an entity where collaboration, brotherhood, and networking is fostered. The alumni chapter is open to all Lambda Theta Phi Alumni and professional men who have completed their undergraduate degree. At the National Convention in Philadelphia 2000, the Fraternity made a firm commitment to the establishment of such alumni chapters throughout the country.

Lambda Alpha chapter will meet the specific needs of Lambda Alumni in the New York City Area. More specifically, providing financial guidance and management to each other and undergraduate brothers; resources for continuing our higher education; an alumni newsletter to promote announcements such as marriages, births; and events in which to include our immediate families such as group picnics and outings. This graduate chapter will be integral in the retention of alumni involvement. Notwithstanding, we will also be a source of guidance and transition from undergraduate life to professional life for our graduating brothers. The graduate chapter can to assist and provide educational workshops to the undergraduate chapters within a sector and to raise money for undergraduate and alumni resources alike.

This is also a great opportunity to provide graduate, alumni and professional men an opportunity to join our fraternal brotherhood and promote the fraternity's ideals through programs and events that will attract alumni and professional men. Lambda Alpha abides by and upholds all the rules and regulations of the National Fraternity, to further promote the strengths of our fraternal organization. Our primary objective is to provide a network for Lambda Alumni.

Goals and Objectives:

The Alumni Chapters’ goals include, but are not limited to:

• Providing graduate, alumni, and professional men an opportunity to join our fraternal brotherhood.
• Promoting the fraternity’s ideals through programs and events that will attract alumni and professional men.
• Representing brothers in each respective Sector within the fraternity structure.
• Abiding by and to upholding the rules and regulations of the National Fraternity.
• Assisting and providing educational workshops to the undergraduate chapters.
• Raising money in an effort to provide resources for undergraduates and alumni alike.
